This is a historic trip made by the first settlers of the area. Formerly used to move and arrive with their provisions to Villa O'Higgins, as well as to move their products to other locations, mainly herds of Bagual cattle. We begin our trip at the latitude of the Calluqueo glacier moving through forests of Lengas, rivers and the characteristic passage of this area the “Paso de la Picota”. Afterward, we go through the headwaters of the Bravo river and others to reach lake Alegre, where we usually have a day of rest for you and the horses. There we will have time to fish or take a walk. This ride travels through traditional gaucho sites. We have the opportunity to travel from Mallín Grande to the Chacabuco Valley (Patagonia Park), passing through typical summer resorts and stalls that are located in the heart of the Aysenina mountain. We enter in Lenga's forests, with river crossings, passages through ancient mining sites and views of glaciers. As always accompanied by local guides and muleteers who allow us to know this beautiful place in another way, from their experiences and stories that make us feel at home.

We start the trip from Puerto Guadal towards Mallín Grande. There we have the opportunity to learn about horses, how to saddle, see the implements and receive some tips on how to manage and control the horse. At last, we begin the walk on the path that runs through several viewpoints with panoramic sights of General Carrera Lake. On the way, we have stop points at which we can go to rest on some beach in the lake, where you can also fish.

We leave Puerto Guadal to Mallín Grande where we will have time to learn about horses and how a horse is loaded. We begin the adventure going into the ancestral roads to the “El Tronador” post, where we will place our base camp. The next day we will make our way into the forest to the Cerro Negro sector, where we can find Atlantic fossils. Returning to the base camp we will enjoy a delicious roast to the stick. The third day we headed to the hidden Glacier a special place to rest. Finally, we have two options available for the return, these vary according to the hours of riding that you wish to perform.
